The festival of short films in Kef!
The Kef Short Film Festival is a film festival dedicated to short films.
Founded by the ACT (arts, cinema, and theatre) Association of Kef in 2016, this festival has become a destination and a meeting spot for filmmakers from around the world.
Sharing the art of the short film in all its forms and to the largest number of people with a selection of films from the Arab world and the entire African continent.
The FCKEF will celebrate its fifth edition from October 12 to October 15, 2023, in Kef in the North West of Tunisia.
Directors and producers, the registration deadline for your films is on September 15, 2023, at midnight. Yalla Cinema!

بدأت سوسن معالج التمثيل منذ التسعينات وكان أول ظهور لها في برنامج تلفزي شبابي، "شمس عليك" الذي كان بمثابة إشارة إنطلاق لمسيرة فنية متميزة مابين سينما وتلفزيون. في رصيدها عدد كبير من الأفلام الطويلة والقصيرة وعدة مشاركات في أدوار بطولة في أعمال درامية، كما كانت لها تجارب في التنشيط التلفزيوني والإذاعي وكذلك في المسرح وهي تعتبر فنانة متكاملة أتقنت الطابع الدرامي والكوميدي كما أتقنت فن الكتابة الساخرة. وتعد سوسن معالج من أبرز وأهم الممثلات في جيلها.
Elle a commencé à jouer dans les années 90 et sa première apparition a eu lieu dans une émission télévisée pour les jeunes "Shams Alik", qui a été le point de départ d'une carrière artistique distinguée entre le cinéma et la télévision. Elle a un grand nombre de longs et courts métrages et plusieurs participations dans des rôles principaux dans des fictions dramatiques. Elle a également eu des expériences dans l'animation télévisuelle et dans la radio, ainsi quelques expériences au théâtre. Elle est considérée comme une artiste complète qui maîtrise le genre dramatique et la comédie en même temps, ainsi que l'art de l'écriture satirique. Sawsan Maalej est l'une des actrices les plus en vue et les plus importantes de sa génération.
She started acting in the ‘90s and her first appearance was in a TV show for youth called "Shams Alik", which was the starting point of a distinguished artistic career in film and television. She appeared in numerous feature films and short films, played leading roles in TV dramas, and worked as a television and radio host. She was also in a few plays. She is considered an all-around artist who masters drama and comedy at the same time, as well as the art of satirical writing. Sawsan Maalej is one of the most prominent and important actors of her generation.

بدأت أول مشوارها في التمثيل سنة 2006 مع "فيلم بين الوديان" لخالد البرصاوي، تلته العديد من المشاركات في أفلام طويلة وقصيرة مثل شريط "سؤال عن السعادة Le bonheur? " للمخرج محمد بن بشر و"المشروع" لمحمد علي النهدي. عرفت للجماهير العريضة سنة 2008 بمشاركتها المتميزة في أحد المسلسلات الرماضانية الناجحة جماهيريا ومن حينها توالت تجاربها بين التلفزيون والسينما. كما خاضت تجارب مسرحية منذ 2009 أولها مسرحية من انتاج المسرح الوطني "ابنة الجنرال" للمخرج الفرنسي "دافيد غوشار" David Gauchard وهي الآن تخوض تجربة متفردة تجمع بين المسرح والسينما مع المخرج والممثل غازي الزغباني عبر مسرحية "الهربة" التي قاموا باقتباسها للسينما. تتميز نادية بوستة من بين ممثلات جيلها بالتزامها الفني والانساني وجرأة الاختيارات والخطاب.
Elle a commencé sa carrière d'actrice en 2006 avec "Bin Al-Wediyan" le film de Khaled Al-Barsawy, suivi de nombreuses participations à des longs et courts métrages, tels que " Le bonheur?" de Mohammed Ben Bichr et "Le projet" par Mohammed Ali Nahdi. Connue du grand public pour sa participation exceptionnelle à l'une des séries à succès populaire du Ramadan en 2008, et depuis lors, ses expériences entre la télévision et le cinéma se sont poursuivies. Elle a également vécu des expériences théâtrales depuis 2009, dont la première est une pièce produite par le Théâtre National « La Fille du Général » du metteur en scène français David Gauchard, et elle vit aujourd'hui une expérience unique qui mêle théâtre et cinéma avec le metteur en scène et comédien Ghazi Zaghbani à travers la pièce « La fuite » qu'ils adaptèrent au cinéma. Autodidacte, il a appris l’art de l’acteur en côtoyant les artistes de théâtre dans sa ville natale le Kef où il a grandi. Il est aussi poète, il a su porter le vent du Nord-Ouest dans ses paroles et le souffler dans la capitale où il est allé faire le théâtre avec les metteurs en scènes les plus connus. Il est aussi un des membres fondateurs de la troupe Kéfoise mythique Awled Boumakhlouf, ce qui fait de Bahri Rahali un artiste complet qui a dans son actif plusieurs œuvres. Actuellement il est considéré comme l’une des figures les plus connus dans la scène artistique et culturelles tunisiennes.
He is a self-made artist. He learned the art of acting by rubbing shoulders with theatrical artists in his hometown of Kef where he grew up. He is also a poet who knew how to carry the winds of the North-West in his words and took them to the capital, where he moved to practice the art of theater with the most known directors. He is also one of the founding members of the legendary Kef group Awled Boumakhlouf, which makes Bahri Rahali an all-around artist who was involved in several works. He is currently considered one of the most famous figures in the Tunisian artistic and cultural scene.

Autodidacte, il a commencé en tant que technicien de décors dans le théâtre jusqu’au jaillissement de son don exceptionnel et devenir un acteur qui participera dans plusieurs œuvres et expériences théâtrales. Son talent prodigieux a su inspirer beaucoup de réalisateurs de cinéma ainsi il a joué dans un grand nombre de films courts et longs jusqu’à devenir un des plus importants acteurs de la scène. Actuellement Jamal Madani mène l’expérience de la mise en scène et de la production.

Najoua Zouhair a commencé sa carrière d'actrice en 2000 en participant à des œuvres dramatiques à la télévision, et en 2002, elle est passée au cinéma avec le film "Poupée d’argile", suivi d'expériences cinématographiques, dont "Parole d’hommes" de Moez Kammoun et « Al-Jaida ». de Salma Bakkar, et enfin sa participation distinguée dans "L'homme qui a vendu sa peau" réalisé par Kawthar Ben Hania. Elle a été présentée au grand public à travers sa participation à des fictions dramatiques Ramadanesques, tels que "Yamsaharni" de Moncef Dhouib et "Flashback" réalisé par Mourad Bechikh. Najwa Zouhair has lived different experiences, such as radio animation in 2011 and 2012. Comédienne de théâtre et de cinéma, elle étudie le théâtre à Paris puis revient en Tunisie dans les années 80 pour contribuer au mouvement théâtral de l'époque. Fatma Saidan est considérée comme l'une des doyennes du nouveau théâtre avec Jalila Bakkar, Fadel Al-Jaaibi et Al-Fadil Al-Jaziri.. et elle a participé à de nombreuses œuvres théâtrales et cinématographiques avec eux, dont le film « Arab ». Fatma Saidan excelle à incarner des rôles complexes ce qui lui vaut le titre de « comédienne ». Elle a une carrière riche en œuvres et en trophées, elle a incarné de nombreux rôles au théâtre et au cinéma, et a travaillé avec la plupart des grands réalisateurs tunisiens. Elle est également connue pour son soutien aux jeunes réalisateurs et elle a eu de nombreuses expériences avec des réalisateurs dans leurs premières œuvres, tels que Malik Amara, Kawthar Ben Hania et Walid Taya. Actuellement Fatma Saidane est considérée comme une icône du théâtre et du cinéma tunisien.

Elle a étudié le cinéma à l’ISAMM, son projet de fin d’étude « Le pas du chat » fut bien accueilli et il a été primé au FIFAK en 2008, mais sa vocation d’actrice l’emporta sur sa vocation de réalisatrice. Elle a joué dans plusieurs séries dramatiques et aussi avec des grands réalisateurs du cinéma tunisiens : Nouri Bouzid, Ridha El Bahi et elle a aussi travaillé avec les plus jeunes comme AlaaEddine Slim avec qui elle a joué « Tlames » le film tant primé et sélectionné dans la Quinzaine des réalisateurs au festival de cannes, comme elle a dernièrement entamé une expérience dans le théâtre. Souhir Ben Amara est de nos jours considérée comme une star de la scène artistique et médiatique tunisienne et une des actrices les plus talentueuses, actuellement elle est en train d’envisager de renouer avec sa première vocation à savoir : La réalisation.

درس زياد اليتيم الإخراج في المعهد العالي لفنون الملتيميديا بمنوبة. ولاقى مشروع تخرجه نجاحا كبيرا نال به العديد من الجوائز وكان إعلانا لكتابة سينماتوغرافية جديدة تريد أن تقطع مع السائد. وهو يعد من جيل المخرجين الشبان التونسيين الذين يعملون على طرح جمالي جديد في صناعة الصورة. اشتغل في أول مسيرته كمخرج اعلانات وقد وجد في الأغاني المصورة مجالا لتحقيق نظرته الجمالية وإيصالها للجمهور، كما أخرج زياد اليتيم سلسلة للتلفزيون لاقت نجاحا جماهيريا كبيرا.
Il a étudié la réalisation à l’ISAMM. Son premier court métrage projet de fin d’étude qui fut tant acclamé et primé, vient annoncer une nouvelle écriture cinématographique qui tend à rompre avec l’écriture classique. Il est ainsi considéré parmi la génération de jeunes réalisateurs qui travaillent sur un propos esthétique nouveau. Il a débuta sa carrière avec la réalisation de spot publicitaire et trouves dans l’art du vidéo clip une consécration à sa vision esthétique et une manière à la faire parvenir aux spectateurs. Il est aussi le réalisateur de « El Hajema » une série de télévision de grand succès.

He is thus considered among the generation of young directors who work on a new aesthetic plane. He started his career with directing advertisements and found in the art of music video production a devotion to his aesthetic vision and a way to make it reach the spectators. He is also the director of "El Hajema", a very successful television series.
